Marco Emanuele Galanti was born in Milan on 8 November 1954, has practiced law in Milan since 1982, and has been certified to practice before the Court of Cassation since 1997.

Following access to retirement benefits, at the end of 2015 he requested the cancellation from registers just mentioned above, continuing to carry out activities in the field of consultancy and out-of-court.

In addition to having performed consulting work for the Italian Union of Small Property Owners, he has worked with and written articles for the Corriere Giuridico law journal (published by Ipsoa), and has been invited to speak at numerous conferences organised by Cegos and Milano Finanza on the issue of the “Civil Liability of Joint Stock Company Directors.” He co-authored a book published by Il Sole 24 Ore Pirola entitled “Directors of Joint Stock Companies and Civil Liability – Tax Obligations – Professional Diligence,” of which two editions were published, in 1997 and 1999.

Since October 2006, he has continued to publish articles and analyses in the daily newspaper Il Sole 24 Ore on the subject of labour law, as well as corporate and bankruptcy law, copyrights and new technologies.

His professional career has allowed him to develop considerable experience in civil and commercial law, assisting a number of national and multinational companies operating in a variety of sectors.

He has professional relations with important industrial groups, publishing, telephone services and real estate companies, record labels and radio companies. In doing so he provides assistance and operational consulting to support the governing bodies, general management, finance, oversight and personnel departments, regarding employment, contracts and claims management in the corporate field, both in- and out-of-court.

He has also gained considerable experience in extraordinary operations involving acquisitions and the sale of shares and companies as well as outsourcing, in addition to the field of copyrights, image, competition and brands. In the public sector he works with healthcare companies, and has developed special skills in handling issues linked to medical civil liability and related insurance matters.
